At 12:15 am Wednesday, August 30th, early morning, A woman swerved to miss a deer but crashed into a power pole 2.5 miles east of Sauk Centre. Teresa Forcier, 37, of Sauk Centre, was reportedly driving her car when a deer jumped out at her and she swerved to get out of the way, severing a telephone pole. She was uninjured but  Multiple residents in that area were without power for a short period until it was restored by Stearns Electric.
