Including the cities of Alexandria, Long Prairie, Little Falls, Morris, Glenwood, St Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Madison, Benson, Montevideo, Willmar, Litchfield, Granite Falls, Olivia, Hutchinson, Gaylord, Redwood Falls, New Ulm, St Peter, St James, and Fairmont:

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 3 PM CST WEDNESDAY. Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. From 6 PM this evening to 3 PM CST Wednesday.

Whiteout conditions in open areas where snowbanks are deep. Slippery roads and near zero visibility possible at times as blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. In addition, cold wind chills near 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. *Avoid travel Tuesday night if possible.
