MASK MANDATE UPDATE
Alexandria, MN, May 17, 2021 – The City of Alexandria is reaching out to the public regarding the mask mandate changes that were made by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on May 14, 2021.
City officials are supporting this Executive Order as follows:
• Masks are no longer required in city facilities.
• Per Centers for Disease Control and Minnesota Department of Health guidelines, we recommend those that are not fully vaccinated wear a mask while indoors.
• Please have a face covering readily available as businesses and institutions have the ability to require face coverings as they wish.
