
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has identified A 17-year-old male from Alexandria who died in a one-vehicle rollover northeast of Alexandria early Friday morning, June 16.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was Logan Pfeffer.
According to his family, “Logan made such an impact on so many lives during his short time with us and he will forever be remembered as a talented and loving son and as a deeply kind, devoted and caring human to so many friends and all of his “found brothers” who knew him best. Words cannot express the sadness and sorrow his parents are experiencing at this time – first learning of and now living with the loss of their only child.”
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria with Pastor Hans Dahl officiating. Lind Family Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, at Calvary Lutheran Church and will continue one hour prior to the service.
June 16th – At 3:29 a.m., the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single vehicle rollover crash on County Road 73 NE near the intersection with Berglund Mile NE in Alexandria Township, about two miles southeast of the Nordic Trails Golf Course.
Deputies arrived and Pfeffer was pronounced deceased on scene.
The incident remains under investigation. The Minnesota State Patrol has been requested to assist in completing a reconstruction of the crash.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by North Memorial Ambulance and Carlos First Responders.
