Two Injured in I-94 Crash Near Alexandria

Two people were injured in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 just west of Alexandria Monday night, September 25th.

According to the MN State Patrol report, Catherine Mary Heln Bockwitz, 68, of Fergus Falls was traveling west on I-94 around 10:40pm when the vehicle went off the roadway near mile marker 97 and came to a stop on a bridge embankment.

The crash report states Bockwitz and her passenger, Tanya Catherine Bockwitz, 30, of New Ulm were taken to Alomere Health in Alexandria with non-life-threatening injuries. 

They were both wearing seat belts.

Road conditions were dry and alcohol was not a factor.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and North Ambulance assisted at the scene.
