On Thursday, June 29th at 4:02 pm, Douglas County Deputies responded to a single ATV rollover crash near the Co Rd 33 NW and Stockhaven Rd NW intersection in Lund Township. The ATV was operated by Brian Kielbasa. A juvenile passenger was also on the ATV. The crash occurred in the east ditch of Co Rd 33 and the ATV was rolled over. Brian sustained severe injuries and was air lifted from the scene. The juvenile passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash. The crash still remains under investigation. Deputies were assisted on scene by Life Link, Ashby Ambulance, and Evansville First Responders.
