We continue Minnesota’s Severe Weather Awareness Week through Friday, April 8th. .

Officials remind everyone that statewide tornado drills are set for today, Thursday, April 7 at 1:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Outdoor sirens and NOAA weather radios will sound at that time. Schools & businesses and individual households are encouraged to take this time to practice an emergency tornado shelter plan. 

A second 6:45 p.m. tornado drill will allow individuals and families the opportunity to practice.
