Mon May 9 2022 This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and southern Minnesota, and West Central Wisconsin.

DAY ONE: Today and Tonight. Two rounds of thunderstorms are possible today. The first round will occur this morning across central and western Minnesota with large hail the main threat. A second round may occur this afternoon and evening across eastern Minnesota and Wisconsin. Large hail, damaging winds, and a tornado or two are possible with that round. Strong south winds are expected today with gusts of 45 to 50 mph possible.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN: Tuesday through Sunday. There is a chance of thunderstorms most of the week. Some storms may occasionally reach severe levels, with the best severe risks Wednesday afternoon and night, and again Thursday afternoon and night. Locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding are possible Wednesday night. Very warm and humid conditions will arrive midweek. Heat indices in the 90s are likely Thursday.
