After putting up only 6 points in a stinker loss to the Chicago Bears a week earlier, Minnesota Vikings fans were wondering if they would see the same sputtering effort against the New York Giants.
That question was answered in short order when a the Vikings capped a 98-yard drive with QB Kirk Cousins hitting WR Adam Thielen on a fade route for his first red zone touchdown pass of the year. Cousins threw two touchdowns to Thielen, Dalvin Cook ran for 132 yards and the Vikings made life miserable for Daniel Jones and the New York Giants in a 28-10 victory on Sunday.
Thielen insisted the team had to stop being one dimensional on offense, relying solely on the run. The (3-2) Purple return home to face another NFC East team, the (3-2) Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. All the action on KIK.
