A man with multiple outstanding felony warrants was reportedly arrested in Belgrade earlier this week. According to the report, the Belgrade-Brooten Police Department received a tip that a man with multiple warrants was in his house.
The Belgrade-Brooten police along with the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office performed surveillance on the house at 525 Washburne Ave. and saw Dylan Kelley, 32, of St. Cloud, in the entryway and was asked to come out.
The Stearns/Benton SWAT team were called in and tried to get Kelley to surrender. Police say after “the attempts to have Kelley surrender and come out peacefully were unsuccessful,” the SWAT team entered Kelley’s house just after midnight.
After seven hours they were able to breach the house and found him in a crawl space. Kelley was arrested without incident and booked in the Stearns County jail.
