St. Cloud Man Uses Drone To Help Find Missing Sherburne County 6-Year-Old

A St. Cloud man is being credited with helping to find Ethan Haus, the 6-year-old boy who went missing since getting off a school bus in Palmer Township north of Becker on Tuesday afternoon. Steve Fines runs an aerial imaging company and teamed up with Sherburne County sheriff’s deputies. Using a drone equipped with thermal camera, Fines spotted Ethan and his dog in a corn field early Wednesday morning and guided deputies to the spot. Fines is being called a hero, but said that it was rather an effort of everyone working together. The search for Ethan brought dozens of emergency workers and more than 600 neighbors, friends and strangers from miles around.

INCREDIBLE VIDEO: This is thermal drone footage of the moment rescue crews found 6-year-old Ethan and his dog in a corn field overnight. A deputy told the ground team where to go, and Ethan’s dog started whining, which led them the rest of the way.
