It has been confirmed by Bloomberg and in a tweet that SeaWorld has offered to buy Valley Fair for $3.4 billion dollars. Cedar Fair, who owns 27 theme parks, is considering the offer. It would merge their parks with the 12 owned by SeaWorld Entertainment including Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Virginia.

The company turned down a $4 billion offer from Six Flags Entertainment Corp. in 2019.

They will carefully consult their financial advisors before making this decision.
