Maybe Sam Hunt should have had a house party.
Hunt was arrested for DUI early Thursday after driving the wrong way down a street in East Nashville.
He was booked around 6:30 a.m. on charges of having an open container and driving under the influence.
Police found Hunt swerving in and out of his lane and pulled him over to find two empty beers next to him.
After attempting to hand over his passport and credit card rather than his driver’s license, Hunt admitted to drinking “recently.”
He was released from jail on a $2,500 bond around 9 a.m. and is scheduled to appear in court on January 17, 2020.
