The Douglas County Commissioners met and discussed a state of emergency for Forada residents and others impacted in Douglas County. There may be storm related sales tax exemptions and re-assessments. A county tree and brush staging site will be in the grass lot north of the Forada Firehall tomorrow from 10-noon. Also a second tree waste drop site is at the Douglas County Fairgrounds using the Far West Gate.
