Primary Election Results are In

The preliminary results are in from yesterday’s primary election in Minnesota. Governor Tim Walz obtained over 96% of the vote and will face Republican Primary Scott Jensen who obtained a landslide 89% of the vote. Secretary of state will be Steve Simon against Republican Kim Crockett and incumbent DFL Attorney General  Keith Ellison will face Republican Jim Schultz this fall.

Preliminary numbers from Tuesday’s Primary election show that Shawn Reilly and Lynn Lommen are the winners in the position 3 Alexandria school board race. Sandy Susag and Laura Knudsen are the winners in the position 4 primary race.

They will appear on the ballot on November 8th.
