President Donald Trump turned a campaign rally into an extended dissection of four Democratic congresswomen, deriding them for what he painted as extreme positions. After Trump suggested they leave the country and singled out Somali-born Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, the crowd shouted, “Send her back!” Trump is accusing the lawmakers, all women of color, of “helping to fuel the rise of a dangerous, militant hard-left.” Rep. Omar came to the U.S. as a child after fleeing Somalia with her family. They eventually settled in Minneapolis. She became a U.S. citizen in 2000 when she was 17 years old.
