New donation goal for Millerville families impacted by farming accident

A new donation goal has been set up on GoFundMe for the two Boesl families impacted by a farming accident.

A father, 47-year-old Curt Boesl and his 11-year-old son, Alex were working in the top of the silo when they were overcome by fumes. Another one of Curt’s sons was outside the silo and called 911, then his uncle, 49-year-old Steve Boesl who lived nearby.

Steve tried to pull out Curt and Alex, but breathed in the fumes himself.

Curt and Steve both passed away.

Curt Boesl’s 11-year-old son Alex was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, and right now his condition is unknown.

The GoFundMe page has a new goal of $40,000, which will be split between the two families.

You can donate by clicking on this link.

There is no new update about how Alex is doing, but many in the community are reminding everyone to keep praying.

Just checking in. Have you prayed for Alex today?
