A murder suicide occurred on Friday April 29th in Otter Tail County. 25 year old Isaac Malone shot and killed his wife, 25 year old Ariel Malone at their rural Wadena home. Then Isaac took his own life. The MN BCA and Otter Tail Law Enforcement continue to investigate.

Friday, April 29th, at approximately 2040 hours, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of two adult’s who were found deceased at a residence in rural Wadena, MN within Ottertail County. The Sheriff’s Office believes it to be an isolated incident and there is no known threat to the public. Assisting the Sheriff’s Office is the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Names are being withheld at this time as the investigation is on-going.

After further investigation, the incident was determined to be a murder-suicide. 25 yr old Isaac Malone shot and killed his wife, 25 yr old Ariel Malone, at their residence in Compton Twsp, rural Wadena within Otter Tail County. Isaac Malone then took his own life. Autopsies completed by Midwest Medical Examiners Office. MN BCA is assisting with the investigation.”
