It’s finally June, and that means it’s Revd Up Country Fest month! Craig Morgan headlines the event on Saturday June 25th. We were running down the laundry list of hit’s Craig has and I’ve narrowed down my Top 5…
5. Redneck Yacht Club–
The word redneck was made a bit more sophisticated by this song. Okay, maybe that’s a stretch, but it’s like an early version of Little Big Town’s “Pontoon”. Just makes you want to find a lake.
4. The Father, My Son and the Holy Ghost–
I’m a sucker for these songs. I’ll turn in my man card if demanded but every now and again we need a good cry. This song checks the boxes. So raw and heartfelt. It had to make my Top 5.
3. Little Bit of Life–
“A little bit a yee haw in the hay”. I wish I could have this one a touch higher but just couldn’t kick the next 2 down at all. Such a fun song. I’m sure it’s got a little extra energy when the crowd is singing it back.
2. International Harvester–
I probably have this higher on my list than most, but growing up as a farm kid this song is my jam. Even though, we were more of a John Deere fam.
1. That’s What I Love About Sunday–
Get the cell phone flashlights ready. It’s not one of the many fun, party-songs he is known for but this one takes the cake for me.
