More People Are Ghosting Their Employers

If you thought you could only get ghosted on a date, you’re wrong: A growing number of people are now ghosting on their jobs. Post Grad Problems notes that more and more employees just straight-up leave work one day, don’t show up the next day and never contact their bosses again. Last week,  Ball State University economist Michael Hicks told The Washington Post that the trend was caused in part by today’s strong labor market. “Why hassle with a boss and a bunch of out-processing,” Hicks said, “when literally everyone has been hiring?”
