Local McDonald’s Launch Annual Shamrock Campaign
Promotion Benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest
From March 6th to 16th, local McDonald’s owner/operators Kevin Cook and Kevin Cook, Jr. will donate $.25 from the sale of Shamrock Shakes and OREO Shamrock McFlurry’s to Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest (RMHC-UM). Every year, this promotion raises more than $50,000 for RMHC-UM, enabling them to offer complimentary lodging, meals, and support to families dealing with a child’s health crisis. The organization serves families from across the Upper Midwest as well around the country who travel to Minnesota seeking the best medical care for their child.
Kris & Chelsea spoke with RMHC mom, Kelly Pederson, who continues to utilize the facilities as her young 15 month old daughter, Lacie, undergoes multiple heart surgeries. She shares their journey and how much the RMHC has helped them rest, revitalize and recharge as they help their young daughter battle for her life and continue to get stronger each day.
