A new flag will be flying at the Veterans Memorial Park in Alexandria. The U.S. Space Force (USSF) is the newest branch of the Armed Forces, established December 20, 2019 with enactment in 2020. 

The space Force is within the department of the Air Force….it is led by a four-star general known as the Chief of Space Operations.

Marine Corps League – Runestone Detachment 1409, who spearheaded the Veterans Memorial Park, want to remind you if you have a veteran that you would like to have their name engraved at the park, you have until the 31st of March to submit the paperwork.
