On 2-23-23 at approximately 0419 hours, the Douglas County Dispatch Center received a 911 call regarding a structure fire at 12356 Co Rd 26 SW, Farwell. The homeowner was reporting that their garage was on fire and that everyone was out of the house. Douglas County Deputies along with Lowry Fire Department, Kensington Fire Department and North Memorial Ambulance responded to the location. Upon arrival Deputies observed the home was fully engulfed in flames. It is believed the fire possibly originated from a wood boiler. The home was a total loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
