
Three people were injured Tuesday night, Oct. 31 in a two-vehicle head-on crash on Highway 29 in Carlos Township.
According to the MN State Patrol, Preston Johnson-Byker, 21, of Alexandria was driving a 2010 Chevy Silverado north on Highway 29 and Nicole Eastmead, 26, also of Alexandria was driving a 2006 Chevy Impala heading south near milepost 89 north of Alexandria. Their report states there was a head-on crash when one vehicle swerved over the center line.
Johnson-Byker was taken to Alomere Health with non-life-threatening injuries and his passenger, Aaliyah Pray, 19, of Miltona was also injured but not taken to a hospital. Both were wearing seat belts, according to the State Patrol.
Eastmead was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The State Patrol said it’s unknown if she was wearing a seat belt.
The crash remains under investigation.
