A major storm system is likely to impact the Upper Midwest through tonight, bringing a mixture of precipitation types and strong winds. Scattered thunderstorms capable of hail are possible this afternoon and evening, mainly for southern and eastern Minnesota into western Wisconsin. Strong east northeasterly winds are expected this afternoon. Sustained speeds may reach 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. A major storm system is likely to impact the Upper Midwest through Wednesday night, bringing mainly snow showers with continued strong winds.
