Happy 38th birthday Carrie Underwood!

She’s an Oklahoma girl and the daughter of a sawmill worker and an elementary school teacher.  Once a little church singing girl who’s now one of today’s biggest superstar!  There’s singers and then there’s Carrie Underwood!

Did you know that Carrie never had any formal singing lessons? Her voice truly is a gift from God. She began singing in church at 3 years old.

She went on to win the fourth season of American Idol and the rest is history.
