It’s time for all of you ghouls and goblins to Trick or Treat!! Where are the best bets in the Lakes Area for great Halloween? We got you, Boo!
- Lions Club of Carlos and the Liberty Livewires 4-H Club – free Halloween Party on Sunday, October 28th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Carlos Events Center. Kids will enjoy games, crafts, treats and a photo station. There will be a bike given away for ages 11 and under. Must be present to win. Costumes are encouraged.
- Runestone Museum – Fall Fest on Halloween from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Activities include: make your own edible treat station, crystal ball readings, Viking games, spooky crafts for kids, a special Halloween Scavenger hunt and more. Dress for the weather as this event is primarily outdoors. Treats and cider provided. Free to all ages.
- The Downtown Alexandria Merchants and Association – fun and safe trick or treating in downtown Alexandria on Halloween from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
- Osakis Presbyterian Church – Trunk or Treat on Halloween. It will be held in the church parking lot beginning at 4:30 p.m.
- First Lutheran Church, Alexandria – Trunk or Treat on Halloween from 4:30 to 6:30. The church invites trick-or-treaters to bring boxes of granola bars for The Shelf at Discovery Middle School.
- Forada Community Halloween – Annual Costume Party. Kids – get dressed up and come out! There will be prizes, snacks, photo booth, and a haunted house. Boys & girls bike prizes courtesy of Forada Lions. Prize drawings at 6:45. Kids must be present to win. Free will offering with proceeds to support Lucky Star 4H Club.
- Grace Lutheran in Brandon – Trunk or Treat on Halloween. All are invited to decorate a trunk! There will be a free will hotdog supper.
