In February 2020, Laurie Quistorff (Sauk Centre) received devastating news that she had brain cancer. She was just weeks away from retirement. Now, brain cancer survivor, Laurie is cancer free but left with very limited mobility. A benefit is being held in her honor so that she can have her lifelong dream! After dedicating her life to others, the community is now wrapping their arms around this incredible woman. Special guests, Nicole her daughter, and family friend Amy Foxx, from KIK-FM.

The Little Sauk Region is donating proceeds from their Annual Pancake Dinner to support Laurie. Her home needs to be transitioned to be wheel chair accessible. Join the community Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 at the Little Sauk Legion, 16266 County 50, Long Prairie, MN 56347. The event will be from 4-8pm. Free will donation and silent auction as well as a delicious pancake dinner.
