Fatal Crash Involving National Guard Master Sgt. from Garfield

A car crash at 4pm on Friday claimed the life of 45 year old David Greiner of Garfield, MN. He was traveling northbound on I-35 just one mile south of Hinckley when he was struck by a southbound vehicle that crossed the median.  David was a Master Sergeant of the 148th Fighter Wing in the Minnesota National Guard. He had 20 years of military service and two deployments to Afghanistan.

The driver of the Endeavor, 21 year old Tabitha Sue Sigler of Cambridge and her passenger, 36 year old Santino Hilario Chavez of St. Paul, both received life-threatening injuries from the crash.  Sigler was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Chavez was brought to North Memorial.
