In fact, in Britain, Burger King will no longer make plastic toys.
British Burger King locations have set out bins for people to donate old plastic toys and will be melting them down into reusable tray tables and playground equipment.
McDonald’s plans to reduce plastic toys and has been offering books with kids’ meals.
“That might be a shame for a tiny minority of people,” said one Burger King executive. “But it’s very clear that long term, people think that we’re doing the right thing.”
