Alexandria, MN, January 31, 2022 – The City of Alexandria is reaching out to the public who might be interested in an open discussion regarding a City Deer Hunt.
Those interested in this discussion should come to City Hall, 704 Broadway on Tuesday, February 1st at 3:00 PM. Please note the venue change from when first announced.
“We are aware of citizens’ stories that the deer herd has caused damage to bushes, trees, and plants, and other personal items. We have also heard from members of the community that have reservations about hunting in neighborhoods. We want to bring our community together to find the safest solution for all. We would like to hear input from the City of Alexandria residents.” Chief Scott Kent
