Broadway Musical About Michael Jackson’s Life Postponed Over Coronavirus

A new musical called MJ, about the life of Michael Jackson, has postponed its Broadway debut until March of 2021, the AP reports. The musical will be directed by Tony winner Christopher Wheeldon, and will use all of Jackson’s catalog of songs. Ephraim Sykes will star as Jackson, who died in 2009 after selling hundreds of millions of albums worldwide. The show was originally set to debut next month, and producers are now offering refunds and exchanges for tickets purchased for shows through September 6.
