Bridezilla or Justified? Bride sends no show guest a bill!!

Is she a bridezilla or was this justified? A wedding guest is furious after getting an invoice after they didn’t show up to a wedding This has gone viral on Reddit. What are your thoughts? Team Bride or Team Bad Guest.

The invoice of $331 was sent to the guest billed under ‘Wedding Reception Dinner (No Show)’, as reported by The Sun.

“This invoice is being sent to you because you confirmed seat(s) at the wedding reception during the Final Headcount,” the Reddit user wrote in the post.

“The amount above is the cost of your individual seats.”

“Because you didn’t call or give proper notice that you wouldn’t be in attendance, this amount is what you owe us for paying for your seat(s) in advance.

“You can pay via Zelle or PayPal. Please reach out to us and let us know which method of payment works for you. Thank you!”

The post prompted mixed responses on Reddit, with many slamming the bride as being “petty”.

“Accepting a wedding invite isn’t entering into a legal contract with each other. A social contract, sure, but this is just tacky. It’s a party (during a pandemic). Stuff happens,” one Reddit user wrote.

“Super f***ing petty,” said another.

But those who disagree reckon that failing to RSVP to a wedding is just as ick.

“It’s shitty not to announce it if you won’t make your RSVP,” they said.

“Don‘t bail on people’s weddings unless it’s an absolute emergency,” another wrote.
