The Osakis Public School is hosting a benefit for the family of a beloved former teacher, Darwin Johnson, who died from cancer at the age of 62 last fall. He was survived by his wife and four kids, including two current high school students. The benefit will be held on Monday, May 30 in the Osakis Public School parking lot, from 2 to 5 p.m. There will be food, activities and live music provided by the Red Letter Band. All donations and proceeds will go to Johnson’s family.
