One person was injured following a crash Wednesday morning, November 8th, in Douglas County.  According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash took place along Hwy. 27 at East Lake Mary Road in La Grand Township near Alexandria.

A Mazda CX-5, driven by Dawn Pennie, 63, of Brandon, was stopped facing westbound on eastbound shoulder, and a Ford F-250, driven by Michael Friedrichs, 35, of Sauk Centre, was westbound on Hwy. 27. The Mazda reportedly attempted to make a U-turn in the roadway and two vehicles collided.

Officials say that Pennie suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Alomere Health.
