The Hoffman grain elevator was reportedly damaged in an explosion and fire on Friday night.  The city of Hoffman asking people to stay away from the site well into Saturday as well as conserving water for firefighters. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, they received multiple calls reporting an explosion and fire at the grain elevator Friday evening around 8 p.m.

Officials say the cause of the explosion and fire is unknown at this time as the incident remains under investigation. They say that there were no injuries reported in the incident.
